Where to upskill in textile brand strategy

I’m mapping a Q1 upskilling plan to tighten our fabric-to-brand story and consumer retention, ideally a 4–8 week course that pairs material performance with behavioral data (think Shopify+Klaviyo cohorts and qualitative wear-tests). What programs — AATCC modules, FIT exec ed, or others — move LTV and differentiation in practice, not just theory?

The only 4–8 week thing that’s moved LTV for us was pairing AATCC performance-testing modules with a Shopify/Klaviyo cohort sprint — pick one claim (e.g., moisture management), run wear-tests, then tag those buyers in Klaviyo and read LTV vs control. FIT exec ed is great for the narrative, but , it’s light on the data plumbing, so I’d use FIT for story while you borrow the cohort mechanics from CXL; FIT page: https://www.fitnyc.edu/continuing-and-professional-studies/index.php. Do you have someone who can add test-variant properties to Shopify orders so Klaviyo can cohort off it?

Most exec-ed is fluff, — for a 6-week Q1 sprint, Hohenstein Academy’s comfort/performance mini-course helped us tie lab metrics to brand claims: https://www.hohenstein.us/en/academy/. We picked abrasion/pilling, ran a 10-person wear diary, then messaged a simple “lasts 2x longer” claim to a Shopify customer segment with a small holdout and saw about 10–12% lift in 60-day repeat. It’s a bit technical, so layer in a quick Fairing post-purchase survey to translate the metric — do you have a Martindale or a lab partner lined up?

I got the most lift in a 6‑week Q1 sprint by taking LCF’s online ‘Customer Insight for Fashion,’ then running a ‘claim-to-flow’ test: one performance claim (dry-time from wear‑tests) featured on the PDP and mapped to a Shopify segment, which nudged 90‑day LTV about 6%.
