And have any of you experimented with natural dyes for your textile designs? I recently tried indigo dyeing on organic cotton and was blown away by the depth of color and the process itself. It feels great to create something beautiful that’s also sustainable.
Natural dyes are amazing! I tried turmeric on some linen and had fun with the golden hue, but it does fade faster than I expected — just like my plants during winter. Have you thought about layering different natural dyes for even more depth?
It’s such a joy to see those vibrant colors! I layered indigo with madder once, and it really gave the fabric a richer depth. Have you thought about trying something similar?
I’ve had great results with avocado pits for a soft peachy color — really unique and easy to work with! @isabellaH34, have you ever tried layering colors for more dimension?
