Dialing in pH and pick-up on reactive runs

Anyone else seeing shade drift at 60–80 m/min when bath pH nudges from 10.8 to 11.2 on cotton reactive ranges? We shaved re-dyes by 15% after standardizing padder nip to 2.1 bar and tightening dwell checks, but I won’t trade off LOTO, face shields, and eyewash drills around caustic and steam — how are you tightening control without adding another in-line probe or slowing the range?

At ‘60–80 m/min’ we controlled alkalinity via 0.1N HCl titration, not pH; steadied shade. Tried carbonate/bicarbonate buffer?
